IVAN TONEY swapped the green grass for the red carpet in a matter of hours on Saturday as he presented a Brit Award after playing for Brentford.
The striker, 27, played the full 90 minutes of the Bees’ 2-2 draw at home to Chelsea.
That took place at the Gtech Community Stadium by Kew Bridge in West London.
The Premier League clash finished just before 5pm.
But five hours later, at around 10pm, the England international was on stage at the Brits 16 miles down the River Thames at Greenwich’s O2 Arena.
Toney appeared with Vick Hope to present the Producer of the Year gong to drum and bass duo Chase & Status at the annual music awards.

But fans were left baffled by the bizarre switch from the footballer.
One said: “Ivan Toney is presenting the Brits only a few hours after playing Chelsea today… What a crossover.”
Another wrote: “Ivan Toney presenting a Brit award. So random.”
A third added: “Why is Ivan Toney presenting the Brits?”
A fourth commented: “Chelsea at home then the Brits away for Ivan Toney.”
A fifth joked: “Get you a man who can do both.”
And Toney’s former club Northampton Town tweeted: “Ivan Toney has become the first @NTFC_Academy product to present a Brit Award #ShoeArmy #BritAwards.”
Toney rocked an incredible grey suit alongside glamorous Radio 1 star Hope who dazzled in a sparkling dress.
Centre forward Toney was all smiles as he took centre stage – despite late disappointment in the local derby earlier in the day.
After falling behind to Nicolas Jackson’s header, Brentford levelled when Mads Roerslev pounced on a Chelsea defensive mix-up.
Then Yoane Wissa fired the hosts in front in style with a brilliant acrobatic overhead kick.
But Axel Disasi’s late leader rescued a point for his under-pressure boss Mauricio Pochettino., who was abused by Blues fans during the game.
