The Misaytif family, facing the challenges of residing in a relative’s tent within the refugee camps of Idlib. where civilians sought refuge from the assaults by the Assad regime in Syria—is anxiously anticipating aid for their 14-month-old child, Muhammad, born without limbs.
Misaytif conveyed, “Muhammad requires constant attention and care. He needs to be held continuously. Living here in the camp, we cannot shield him from the summer heat and the cold.”
“After sustaining a leg injury due to the assaults by the Assad regime, I cannot find employment. It’s a challenge to afford my child’s milk, and the costs of medications have significantly increased. I hope Muhammad can continue his life like other children,” he added.
Misaytif emphasized that Muhammad cannot meet his daily needs without support due to his lack of hands and feet. He mentioned, “We struggle to obtain his milk, medications, and diapers. Hopefully, in the future, he will be able to leave the country, get prosthetics, and lead a happy life like other children. My only wish is to provide Muhammad with a happy life”.
